PJ

I'm originally from Louisiana - born and raised there. I now live in Metro Jackson, Mississippi, having moved here over 10 years ago as the result of a job transfer. That company has since gone out of business and I stayed here and now work in the Information Technology field.

I'm a lifelong fan of the LSU Tigers - 2007 Football National Champions - and I attend the Tiger Tour each time it comes through Jackson. I go to Fan Day events whenever I can. I follow the football and baseball teams, I'm not much into the other sports.

In the pros, my favorite NFL teams are the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and yes, the New Orleans Saints. In MLB, I like the Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs. I also like the NBA. My teams there are the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns.

I'm about to forget to mention that I also love NASCAR. My favorite Sprint Cup drivers are Bobby Labonte, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart. Bobby's brother, Terry, now at least partially retired from driving, and I share the same birthday - month and day. He's older, though! I met Terry a number of years ago - in 1995 I believe it was - and I told him about our mutual birthday. He thought that was "cool".

I come from a large family background; although the members are slowly dwindling down. I have one brother, a sister-in-law, then there are their kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. And I have a few Aunts and Uncles, plus lots of cousins spread about the country.

My favorite music - country and Christian. I love ALABAMA and their former front man, and now solo artist Randy Owen. I also enjoy the music of the Eagles - plus Glenn Frey and Don Henley's solo efforts.

Other favorites of mine include Alan Jackson, David St. Romain, George Strait, Vince Gill, Reba McEntire. Favorite Christian artists include David Phelps, Michael W. Smith, Point of Grace, Bill and Gloria Gaither, Gaither Vocal Band, Phil Dixon.

Favorite authors of mine include Terri Blackstock, William Shatner, Charles Swindoll, Tim LaHaye, Jerry B. Jenkins, Joel C. Rosenberg.

Sukiey Greysean

I (Sukiey) am a cat. I'm a domestic short hair and I have lived with PJ for 2 years now. I chose her to be my new human when her friend Chris, who was fostering me for another friend, was going to take me to a shelter because of problems between her cats and me. She feeds and takes good care of me. We have bonded quite well and I love and appreciate my human "Mom".

I have a bit of tabby in me and I am also 1/2 snowshoe - I have 2 white feet. I've got brown, black, white and tan coloring. I've also been told that I have a bit of tortie in me.

My favorite foods include Purina Healthful Balance dry kibble and Whiskas and Fancy Feast wet foods. Currently Mom feeds me Purina Healthful Balance in dry kibble and in Whiskas I get a variety of Chef's Favorites and Seafood pouches. She has fed me Fancy Feast and Science Diet wet food too, but I mainly prefer Whiskas.

I enjoy life with my Mom as she gives me lots of love and affection. She needs to do a better job with my litterbox but I tolerate that.

Oh, by the way, I'm now 8 years old. I was born on July 16, 2000. This makes me a "senior adult" in terms of cathood. By comparison to humans, if I were one, I would be about 56 years old.

And, I know you're probably wondering about my unusual name...well, here's the deal...

When PJ adopted me from Auntie Chris 2 years ago, I already had the name Suki. Well, she wanted to add "her touch" to me, but since I was already named and was 5 years old at the time, she figured I was used to that name. So, she just decided to change the spelling from Suki to Sukiey and she gave me a middle name - Greysean. PJ says that it's always been a name that she has loved, though she can't remember where she first heard it. Well, since she never had a human child to give the name to, she decided she would give it to me for a middle name. Voila! I became Sukiey Greysean - however, PJ doesn't call me by both names very often. She's usually annoyed with me (if you can believe that!) when she does.
